Looking for a Vietnamese-speaking guide in Beijing? I am Quỳnh Nguyễn, based in Chaoyang, Beijing. Through True China Experience on mychinajourney.com, I offer personal accompaniment and trip planning for 1-8 travellers in China. I speak Vietnamese, English and Mandarin; I do not offer French-language accompaniment. Airport welcome, an optional driver, SIM assistance and interpreting can be discussed alongside your visit.
The price depends on your dates, group and programme. Start with a Beijing quote request, identifying the days when you want someone alongside you. You can read about me before deciding whether this approach suits your trip.
Choose the help you actually need
If your family has already booked its hotel and transport, you may only want company for a particular day. If the whole route is still undecided, begin with planning. These are different needs:
- Guide and personal accompaniment: someone with you for the agreed visit, helping with communication, orientation and the flow of the day.
- Car and driver: transport between agreed places. Do not assume the driver also accompanies you inside attractions or speaks your preferred language.
- Trip planning: help choosing the order of visits and organising the stay. Planning alone does not mean someone is present every day.
- Agency package: a bundled itinerary may combine accommodation, transport and activities. Compare its stated inclusions with the personal services in your quote.
See the service overview and name the combination you need. Interpreting for a meeting should also have its own brief, including the subject and expected duration.
A proposed Beijing day
This is an example to discuss, not a confirmed itinerary or a promise of tickets. One possible day starts at your hotel, continues with the Forbidden City if admission is secured, then leaves room for lunch and a shorter hutong walk. A family that prefers fewer steps could stop after lunch instead.
The Palace Museum requires advance, named reservations and the identification used for booking. Use its official booking information to check the current procedure. Accompaniment does not guarantee admission or priority access; agree on an alternative before confirming the day.
For a Great Wall outing, request a separate proposal with transport and your preferred walking effort. The cover photograph shows Jinshanling and does not identify a booked excursion. For choosing sights or the length of your stay, use the Beijing travel guide.
Families, language and arrival arrangements
Tell me who will travel, including children's ages, whether anyone uses a pushchair or mobility aid, and how long the group feels comfortable walking. Describe meal preferences and any communication needs. These details help shape a realistic proposal without promising that every attraction will suit everyone.
For airport welcome, specify Capital (PEK) or Daxing (PKX), as distinguished by Beijing's official airport information. Include the flight number, terminal if known, hotel address and luggage count. Meeting you at arrivals and providing a vehicle are separate items to confirm.
If you need a child seat, a particular vehicle size or help getting a SIM, include that in the request. Ask what can be supplied and what it costs before relying on it. For a delayed flight, establish the contact method and waiting arrangements in advance.
What the quote should clarify
There is no universal daily price. Dates, group size, the route and requested services determine the proposal. Compare quotes for the same scope, especially when one includes transport and another only accompaniment.
Ask for these items to be marked included, excluded or optional:
- Accompaniment dates, start and finish times, meeting point and language.
- Airport welcome, car and driver, parking, tolls and waiting time.
- Attraction tickets, meals, local transport and any guide expenses.
- Trip planning, SIM assistance and interpreting, where requested.
- Payment arrangements, changes, cancellation and additional time.
None of these items is included merely because it appears in this article. The China travel budget guide helps organise your wider spending; it is not a price list for my services.
Request your own programme
Send your dates, number of travellers, hotel or preferred area, essential visits and transport needs through the quote form. Mention what is already booked and which parts you want to handle yourself. If your budget has a ceiling, specify whether it covers accompaniment only or the whole day.
You can also consult the traveller feedback page. Before accepting a proposal, check the agreed scope, availability and conditions together; submitting an enquiry does not reserve a date.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a Vietnamese-speaking guide in Beijing cost?
True China Experience quotes each request according to dates, group size and programme. There is no fixed daily rate on this page. Ask for the accompaniment fee, optional transport and other expenses to be listed separately.
Does hiring a guide include a car and driver?
Not automatically. A driver is optional and must be included explicitly in the quote. Agree on the vehicle, luggage capacity, pickup points and waiting arrangements.
Can Quỳnh guarantee Forbidden City tickets?
No. Discuss help with planning the visit, but admission depends on the museum's official booking process and availability. A guide booking is not an admission ticket.
Which languages can we use during the day?
Quỳnh speaks Vietnamese, English and Mandarin. French is not offered. For a mixed-language family, specify which language each person is comfortable using.
Can we request just one day with children or older parents?
Yes, send the date, group size and mobility needs for a proposal. A single day remains subject to availability, with the walking pace, breaks and transport agreed before confirmation.
